The City of Johnstown Dumpster Program is moving locations. Beginning Friday, April 18th, 2025, City residents may access the dumpsters at the City of Johnstown Fire Training Facility located at the corners of Oak and Murdock Street in the City’s Hornerstown section.
Residents of the City may access the dumpsters Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 3:30pm and on Saturday April 26 from 8:30am to 3:00pm. Additional collection times may be available. For a list of other available collection times please call the City of Johnstown Codes Department at 814-539-2504, ext. 115. Residents may be required to submit proof of residency via driver license, government identification card, or utility bill at the time of disposal.
Tires and televisions are still accepted. After collection hours, the collection site will be locked and camera monitored. Any person caught dumping at the site after hours may be subject to prosecution.
Non-city residents are not permitted to utilize the collection sites.
