The City of Johnstown Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) administer programs and initiatives that promote economic growth, encourage private investment, and strengthen the City’s tax base. The Department supports business retention, expansion, and attraction efforts in accordance with the City’s strategic and redevelopment objectives.
DCED provides technical assistance to businesses and developers regarding site selection, project planning, financing opportunities, and applicable incentive programs. The Department coordinates with local, regional, and state agencies to facilitate development projects and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Businesses located within or seeking to locate to the City may qualify for incentive programs administered by the Department, subject to eligibility requirements and program guidelines.
