Submit an anonymous tip to the Johnstown Police Department
Our ability to solve crimes and create a safer Johnstown has a lot to do with citizen involvement. The Johnstown Police Department has embraced new technologies that open us up to two-way communications, anonymously, with you, the citizens who have tips or other information that will help us solve crimes and create a safer community.
When you submit a tip through any of the three options below, it is sent to a 3rd party tip service acting as a privacy buffer between you and the Johnstown Police Department to preserve your identity and contact information. If you have a tip for the Johnstown Police Department please use any of the three options below to help provide important information on crimes or criminals that will help us to keep Johnstown safe for everyone.
Tip submissions may not be received until the following day. In case of emergency dial 911.

Option #1: Submit a tip through text
To send an anonymous tip via text message to the Johnstown Police Department, text the keyword JPD and your tip to 847411.
When the text message is sent to the JPD the tipster’s cellular phone number is completely anonymous and is never received by the Johnstown PD.

Option #3: Submit a tip online
Use the form below to submit your anonymous tip online. After submitting a tip using the web service, you will be assigned a six digit code with numbers and letters. That is your anonymous ID to log back into the system.
