RAISE Project
The City of Johnstown has exciting new projects occurring throughout our community. The key projects are part of the United States Department of Transportation RAISE grant, a $24.4 million dollar grant award involving numerous projects within the City. This site is the key location for accurate information, updates, and latest activities involved with the implementation of these projects.
Public Engagement Summary This report outlines an extensive public engagement process conducted from April 2023 through August 2023 in which Johnstown residents guided the redesign of the City’s Central Park and Main Street. Through this process, SCAPE Landscape Architecture has produced a concept design entirely driven by the creativity and values of the community. Because of this intensive engagement, the resulting park and streetscape are certain to become treasured public spaces.
